Welcome to the BlueBerry website. I am Dr Kaisa Yip from Hong Kong and am the owner of BlueBerry Cattery. I am a medical professional who like to show my cats as a hobby in leisure time. Here I would like to share with you all the details of my tiny little cattery.

My close relations with animals started from childhood, when I was the only child in the family until 12 years old. I kept different kinds of animals as my companions, and had both happy and sad memories in taking care of these little creatures.

My first pedigreed cat was Ribbons Boogie Woogie, imported from USA in 1998, followed by Ribbons Miss Mocha Mahina in the same year. They both did well in various cat shows which made me feel proud of them. Later when I emigrated to Singapore with my husband in 2001, we took Boogie & Mocha with us. And when we relocated back to Hong Kong in 2003, we brought Boogie, Mocha and their daughter Dingle back as well. So they are important members of our family.

I registered my own cattery as BlueBerry in 2002. In 2005, I import my first exotic boy Jerba Nicol’s Bam Bam from the Netherlands. My major interests are Bicolor & Van Exotics & Persians. The bloodlines I use include Anz, Aime`e, Beaudee, Becton, Bocasana, Brettonpark, Calivan, Dega Bulu, Harwood, Heidazot, Ixiolirion, Jerba Nicol, Prideomine, Ribbons and Spellbound. I hope that by frequent participation in the cat shows and communication with local and overseas breeders, our cattery can be maintained in a high standard, both regionally & internationally.
